Homesteading and gardening can become expensive hobbies if you let them.
My aim though is to share tips and tricks on how to keep things low cost and show how you can grow your own food, cook it and preserve it on a tight budget and in small spaces. We live as frugally as possible as urban homesteaders, we have to because we are both on relatively low incomes.
Here on my blog you'll find information on how I keep gardening costs to a minimum by using recycled materials, creating our own compost, collecting rainwater, harvesting seeds and growing in every spare space I can find! I'll also share tips on frugal living as homesteaders; feeding the family, foraging and reducing energy costs.
I'll do my best to add links to my Frugal Living related posts below so you can click those and be taken straight to the posts.
