I recently held an open evening in my studio introducing the range of Neal's Yard Remedies organic health & beauty products that i now stock in my studio in Seaton, Devon alongside all other things Botanical themed.
I joined Neal's Yard as an independent consultant in August after thinking about it for months as i am a big fan of not only the products and their quality (the blue bottles & the contents of them hehe) but the ethics of the company too. I will admit i was drawn in by the fact that the starter kit is a major bargain jam packed with products & i get a discount on all my purchases too!
I did make myself laugh, as in all honestly i never thought i would join any sort of 'consultant' based job selling products from home, I've always had my own shop and so never felt the need to join any form of home selling type business but as i researched Neal's Yard more & more i realised that it fit perfectly into my lifestyle and my new studio, there is no pressure to actually sell, just support & incentives.
Something not many of you will know is that i am a qualified and insured Holistic Therapist, joining Neal's Yard inspired me to re-start this part of my life, to gain further aromatherapy qualifications (as it has been about 10 years since my last aromatherapy course!) that will enable me to start offering treatments & workshops in my studio alongside the art & crafts. Everything works so well together with Neal's Yard products all being botanical based they fit perfectly into the studio.
I've been overwhelmed by the support locally and online since starting up as a NYR consultant. I have achieved all my success starter incentives (getting myself lots of free products & vouchers to spend) in just over a month. I believe this has a lot to do with the fact that Neal's Yard is a recognised quality brand that people love to use & buy.
I plan to continue to build on my NYR business in my studio; i'm working on creating a range of workshops using the products & offering holistic treatments with them too.
