It was my son Finley who got me started on taking close up photos of flowers. During a trip to Bicton Botanical Gardens he used his camera to take photos of the flowers and on reviewing them I found so many close up images that looked truely stunning.
Since then I've been taking close up shots of flowers as they bloom, using them as inspiration for paintings but also as art in their own right.
