If I am honest the only reason i purchased a fern to grow in the courtyard is because the leaves are perfect for leaf printing!
The moment I got it home I potted it up, popped it out in the courtyard and took cuttings for pressing and printing.
I'm pleased with these first prints using infusion powders and a water mister. The above print is from the top layer of paper. Where powder was on the leaves and activated by the water mister it created a print which I love.
The above image here shows the space masked by the leaves.
I love this effect and I'll be testing it out with different mediums and leaves over the next week.
