5 ways to use cooking apples | Making the most of your harvest

 

I recently uploaded a video to my Tomatoes and Tulips Homestead channel sharing 5 ways you can use cooking apples to make delicious things for your family to enjoy. We are very lucky that a number of our friends and family have well established apple trees so we are often offered wither windfall apples or harvest apples for free. 

I invested in a dward apple tree this year but I don't think i will get a crop from it for at least another couple of years. I'm really looking forward to growing our own apples though. There are so many things you can do with apples and we all enjoy them.

I had hoped to work on my channel more this year but life got in the way since September and I've not done as much filming as I would have liked. I will aim to put together some more videos now things are calming down here and we are settling into a new routine.
